Description : Solar lab conducts research activities include a mix of basic, applied and developmental research on renewable energy of Bangladesh. This lab contains several solarimeter, chart recorder, radiometer, anemometer, solar tracker etc. Solarimeter is used to measure the flux of solar radiation through a surface. Chart recorders are used to record time-varying signals. By radiometer we can detect and measure radiant energy (electromagnetic or acoustic). The availability of these equipment and technical support accorded by the laboratory staff members greatly facilitate the research work.
With assistance and cooperation of many national and international companies this lab conducted several projects to explore the renewable energy field of Bangladesh.
